Xavier Mascaró

Guardians, Bisons, Keepers and Walking Men: the monumental sculptures of Xavier Mascaro (Paris, 1965) cross continents and eras. In this monograph, Xavier Mascaro, who currently divides his time between Mexico and Spain, looks back over the last ten years of his works. Through a hundred photographs of his works, an essay and an interview with journalist and art critic Julie Chaizemartin, he shares his creative vision and his reflections on time and the figures that shape his world.
