Garrett Strang est un photographe américain, installé en France depuis dix ans et fasciné par l’appropriation de l’espace public parisien par une variété de personnes au cœur d’un kaléidoscope culturel. Ses vues sont prises sur le vif, sans calcul, crues et criantes de vérité, "in the raw", comme il le définit lui-même. Il saisit l’instant où les objets et les personnes sont en lévitation, où les regards interrogent l’objectif. Mystère et glamour sont au rendez-vous. Autant de moments magiques et fugitifs d’un Paris “on the edge”. Garrett Strang is an American photographer who has lived in France for ten years and is fascinated by the appropriation of Parisian public space by a variety of people at the heart of a cultural kaleidoscope.
